I need help with my ear infection?

I’m assuming I’ve got an ear infection, my right ear is in AGONISING pain and it’s completely blocked. It feels like there’s pressure in there and this liquid stuff sometimes comes out of it. I’m gonna go to the doctors on monday if it hasn’t cleared up but does anyone have any advice in the mean time? I don’t have any garlic oil or any of the other la-de-da natural medicines, so I don’t need to know about any of those. I’m a bit worried though, are ear infections dangerous at all?
