I have a friend who needs a kidney donation and I have the same blood type. I would like to donate one of mine, but I have a congenital heart defect that I take regular medication for and I also developed high blood pressure last year and take medication for that as well. Would that make me ineligible to donate? If I did donate, would it make a huge impact on my existing health condition?
